Jordan royalty arrive in the UAE on a state visit

The Royal Majesties of King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein and Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan have been welcomed to the UAE on a state visit. The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and the Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, welcomed their majesties upon their arrival at the Presidential Flight in Abu Dhabi accompanied by an entourage of high-profile officials. They were accorded a red carpet reception as the national anthems of the UAE and Jordan were played.

Jordanian royals were also received at the airport by H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Shamma bint Suhail Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Humaid Obaid Khalifa Abushibs, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority, Ahmed Ali Mohammed Al Balushi, UAE Ambassador to Jordan, and Dr. Hamdan Mussallam Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Red Crescent.

Among those accompanying the King of Jordan are Ayman Safadi, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Jordan, Jafar Hassan, Director of King Abdullah’s Office, and Nassar Al Habashneh, Jordan’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates.
